Prayagraj: Launching a coordinated effort to fight the pandemic, the health department administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine to 425 healthcare professionals against the earlier target of 600 on Saturday at six locations in Prayagraj. “Many of the beneficiaries had been posted at the Magh Mela and hence, couldn’t come for the vaccination,” said nodal officer and deputy chief medical officer Dr Rahul Singh.
Of the six vaccination centres set up in the city, the highest number of beneficiaries to be vaccinated were at Phulpur community health centre (CHC) (80), followed by Kamla Nehru Memorial Hospital (75), Duffrin Hospital (69), Soraon CHC (69), MLN Divisional Hospital (67) and MLN Medical College (65).

PRAYAGRAJ: Around 71 percent Healthcare professionals were administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at six locations of the Prayagraj district on Saturday.
The officials of the health department have set a target to administer Covid 19 vaccines to 600 healthcare professional . However, the first dose of the vaccine was administered to 425 healthcare professionals only at six locations of Prayagraj district here on Saturday .
Nodal officer and deputy chief medical officer, Dr. Rahul Singh told TOI that a total of 425 healthcare professionals including Kamla Nehru Memorial Hospital (75 ), MLN Medical college (65) , MLN Divisional hospital (67), Dufferin Hospital (69), CHC Phulpur (80 ) and CHC Soraon (69) were administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

PRAYAGRAJ: The dry run of the much-anticipated Covid vaccine program was conducted under the supervision of senior health officials at six sites, including three each in urban and rural pockets across the Prayagraj district, here on Tuesday. Senior health officials including chief medical officer (Prayagraj) Dr Prabhakar Rai and additional chief medical officer (NHM) Dr Satyendra Rai have conducted the dry run activity successfully to monitor the linkages between planning and implementation.

PRAYAGRAJ: Additional chief secretary, medical health and family welfare department, Amit Mohan Prasad visited the Magh Mela area on Monday. He held a meeting in the ICCC auditorium with the officials while reviewing the preparations for compliance of Covid-19 protocol and organising the mela.
At the meeting, chief medical officer (CMO), Prabhakar Rai, detailed the health department’s compliance with the Covid-19 protocol to organise the fair and prepare the general health system. He informed about the 40 ambulances at the fair, out of which a few ambulances will be specially allotted for Covid-19 patients if any.
