Now, Near Home Vaccination campaign to cover rural crowd in six blocks of dist | Allahabad News

Prayagraj: In an attempt to cover maximum number of recipients in trans-Ganga and trans-Yamuna pockets, officials of the health department have taken up “Near Home Vaccination” campaign in six blocks of the district from June 21 to 26. The campaign is a part of a cluster project, and a total of 92 vaccination teams were roped in to administer the Covid vaccine dose to over 9,000 recipients of all age groups per day. The six blocks where the Near Home Vaccination campaign is being carried out include Kaurihar, Holagarh and Soraon in trans-Ganga, and Chaka, Kutwa and Jasra in trans-Yamuna. As many as 90 villages will be covered under this campaign which will be conducted at primary schools and gram sabha/panchayat bhawans.

No death related to Covid-19 in Prayagraj in past 35 days | Allahabad News

fight against covid continues Prayagraj: Out of the total 11.35 lakh samples collected in Sangam city, roughly 2.58 per cent of the samples tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the infection rate reported in March so far has been 0.15 per cent of the samples collected in the past fortnight this month. This is a positive trend, given the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in different parts of the country in March. After analysing the records, officials of the health department on Tuesday claimed to have collected a total of 11,35,335 samples for testing and 29,394 of them tested positive for Covid-19 infection in the past one year.

Prayagraj: The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) took cognizance of news reports of the death of a three-year old girl at the gate of a private hospital in Prayagraj and asked the district magistrate Bhanu Chandra Goswami on Saturday to initiate an inquiry into allegations of medical negligence and submit report within 24 hours. On Friday, the deceased girl’s father Mukesh Mishra, a resident of Karhenda village of Prayagraj’s Kareli area, had alleged that he had admitted his daughter to the private hospital near Jhalwa 20 days ago. The hospital falls under the jurisdiction of Kaushambi’s Pipri police station.
