Baptist Church Service. It was told to me by a witness that she heard what she thought to be about 20 shots fired around 11 30 this morning. She said it sounded as if it was the work of a semiautomatic weapon. We have learned from local officials that a brief pursuit ensued as Police Chased the gunman across the county line. That pursuit ended with the gunmans death. It is unclear if Police Killed the man or if he took his own life. We are seeing federal, state and local assets on the ground there as many are injured. Eight patients we hear are at University Health hospital in san antonio. More are at connelly memorial medical center. We dont know the identity of the suspect here or more about what happened inside the walls of that First Baptist church this morning. A very tight knit community.
