The school was invited by the Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership (PAEP) to participate in this initiative. The Art Sparks Program is created and funded by the PA Council on the Arts and the PA Turnpike Commission.
Some 80 people attended the sold-out Lenten retreat Feb. 25 which was designed to engage participants in faith-based exercises and discussions around racial healing.
The annual Mass honoring the gifts of persons with disabilities, the deaf community, family, friends, and caregivers will take place March 26 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul in Philadelphia.
