A man has been pronounced dead after a dog walker found him unconscious in a Black Country beauty spot.
Paramedics â including the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car â swooped to green land off Portway Hill, Rowley Regis, just after 10.30am following reports that the elderly man had collapsed.

Medics and police are currently working in green space just off a busy Sandwell road following reports of an unconscious man being found.
West Midlands Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service are said to be stationed in Portway Hill, Rowley Regis, after the alert just after 10.30am on Thursday, June 3.
A spokesman for the service told BlackCountryLive that they have sent the hazardous Area Response Team, an ambulance crew and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car.
A 78 year old man was found by a dog walker in the Rowley Hills this morning. AN elderly man has sadly passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest on the Rowley Hills. The 78 year old was found by a dog walker at around 10:20 this morning, who attempted basic life support but paramedics say nothing could be done to save the man. Police say the incident is not suspicious. A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: An elderly man has been confirmed dead after being found in cardiac arrest on the Rowley Hills by a dog walker. An ambulance, a paramedic officer, the Hazardous Area response Team and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car were sent to the scene after a 999 call at just after 10.20 this morning, Thursday.
