Portsmouth Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services responded to the report of a multi-family structure fire in the 3300 block of Clover Hill Drive in Churchland.
Around 5:16 p.m., Portsmouth Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services responded to the fire, and said crews saw smoke coming out of the second floor of the motel at 1031 London Blvd.
Portsmouth fire crews were called to the 3100 block of Frederick Boulevard for a residential fire, officials said. They ended up finding an abandoned building on fire at 1601 Marshall Avenue.
