Details are still coming in regarding a heinous crime this afternoon at Northeast Portland's Hollywood Transit Center. Two were killed and another was wounded after a man on an eastbound MAX train shouted "various remarks that would best be characterized as hate speech toward a variety of ethnicities and religions," according to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB). At around 4:30 pm, police received calls regarding the disturbance on the MAX, which at some point involved.
The hollywoodHUB development will include affordable housing, business space and modernized transit facilities at the transit center on Northeast 42nd Avenue.

Convicted double murderer Jeremy Christian, who is now serving a “true life” sentence at an eastern Oregon prison, has appealed his case to the state Court of Appeals.
Christian gave notice to Multnomah County Circuit Court Dec. 2, more than five months after he was sentenced for the May 2017 first-degree murders and a hate-fueled crime spree.
No court documents have been filed yet that outline the grounds for Christian’s appeal or even whether Christian is simply appealing his conviction, his life sentence or both.
