A Brockton man who was arrested on Monday, July 19, in the fatal stabbing of another city man was arraigned in district court the following day and held without bail on one count of murder.
Keith Disharoom, 40, was involved in an altercation on North Main Street at 7:38 p.m. Sunday with Eric Cohen, 44, formerly of Holbrook.
Assistant District Attorney Josh Gedraitis said the two men were familiar with each other.
Prosecutors say Cohen was walking his service dog when Disharoom pulled up beside him in his truck and they began to exchange words, at which point the altercation became physical, with Cohen believed to have initially punched Disharoom in the face.
