County. It is thursday night, and the the big story on action news tonight has finally come to an end on the unit block of hillview drive. Action News Reporter Christie Ileto is as close to the scene as she is being allowed by authorities. Christie, the standoff is going on for hours. Do you know yet how police were able to apprehend the barricaded man . Reporter well, jim, that gunman is in custody. And heard not too long ago as him being tased as s. W. A. T. Teams made their way into his home. This was the scene earlier. The barricade lasted for about four hours. Police were called to a home on hillview and wayne at 6 30 this evening. Inside that springfield home was reportedly heavily armed man who had apparently fired three shots. Witnesses say he was yelling at police to end him. And then refused to come out of his home. Now, police were able to man uf a robot into that house and later made entry inside to detain him. Right now that gunman is being treated at a nearby hospital. Th
