I just want to say that even though this has been a very difficult time, i think its also showing us ive been getting a lot of hope from youth and from what im seeing and so a senior with the school of the arts and i think that she excepexemplifies the intelligen, intellect and just the leadership that we see in so many of our youth, including those who are serving on the board with us. And i just really appreciate that shes willing to share her talent with us and i think she serves as an example for adults who should be doing everything we can to support youth. I think that gives me hope and inspiration when im looking at just what our next steps should be. And i just really appreciate jara and im glad she can be here. Thank you, Commission Collins. Where ive been watching some fog drift around. As we get a look at that school day forecast, its 50 degrees, definitely need a jacket, but not later on today, we will be at 71 degrees at 1 00 today. We just upped the time, it was about a half hour delay but now that travel time registers that its 45 minutes heading across from the east bay. Democrats are on the verge of delivering a big win to president obama on that agreement. 42 senators now back the accord and that is enough support to filibuster any vote of disapproval. Reporter we expected to see the house pick up debate on this bill and vote on it as early as friday, but there has been a delay, and you can chalk this up to some disarray and distent in the republican caucus. Some republicans are saying they want to postpone bringing the debate to the floor and voting on the bill. They say its because of socalled side deals when iran and the iaea. It is expected to be a fiery discussion, republicans trying to stop the agreement and force a president ial veto. Democrats say they have the votes to block a resolution from reaching the president s desk. We are live in washington this morning. Libby, the president now has 42 senators supporting the deal. Does this mean that Senate Democrats will definitely filibuster to block any vote on the issue . As we know here in congress, nothings done until its really done. That 42 number is crucial for the white house because technically that is enough democrats to stop republicans from even bringing a disapproval resolution to the floor of the senate.
