We shot video a little bit ago of some of that rain. This is along route 1 south of dedham. Showers turned into very light showers in the afternoon didnt disrupt much at all here. But there was a chance for the storms to be significant here and this afternoon as they crossed the area. Something that pond up along quincy and those areas as well. Worcester county. This year part of the 5 1 2 mile boardwalk reopened after it was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy and the rest expected to be open by next summer. The boardwalk built with stronger supports and Higher Elevation. The entire reconstruction project expected to be completed by 2017. Of course, no need to wait until then. You can come out today and enjoy the beach. If you cant, once again, you have until next sunday to make it out to most f the beaches here around the city.
