Amid the deteriorating air quality in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal said this is not the time for blame games and finger-pointing as the air pollution is a challenge not only for Delhi but for the northern India.
Plea mentioning the ill effects of AQI of 400 and higher sought the direction of SC on stubble burning and also urged that the schools, colleges, government and private offices go virtual/online in order to protect the life of people at large.
Delhi government still hasn’t asked to close schools and colleges but is expected to close schools and colleges as the AQI level rises. Usually, closure of the school is mandated when the AQI reaches the ‘Severe Plus’ category.
