New this morning tampa police are investigating a deadly shooting right now. Just outside of downtown tampa. This is happening in the 11 hundred block of nassau street. After a three hour standoff around 830 last night when deputies say the man fired his gun several times at the fairhaven Mobile Home Park in st. Petersburg. They say he was fighting with his wife. The wife got out safely, but the man refused to leave. He eventually gave up. And is now getting a mental evaluation. Developing in Seminole Heights an 81yearold marine and retired teacher. We started to the north, now its been extended farther south. As we look at the radar shay, a lot of heavy rain. Right. When i first came in this morning we were talking about how Citrus County was really under the gun earlier this morning. They are starting to clear out. What you were saying, it weakened as it moved onshore. That is similar to what were seeing to the south. Hopefully that continues. Its this cell were watching to the south. I think the water temperature is still very cold now this mid60s. That could be weakening the storms as they move in. But boy, look at this, torrential downpours, frequent lightning crews most of the area. A little further south and west were watching this area, with a little spin but i must say its been weakening as well. Hopefully that will follow the trend we had out there early this morning.
