The bill will be sent to the senate where democrats have vowed to reject it. President obama promised to veto any legislation that strips him of his health plan. More from capitol hill. Reporter the house of representatives passed a spending bill largely along party lines to keep the federal government funded and operating through middecember. It has big Strings Attached. First of all, it will delay implementation of the federal Health Care Law known as obamacare by one year. It would also repeal a medical device sales tax. While that tax is controversial, some say it is necessary to help pay for the Health Care Law.
