Across the united states, scenes of Police Shootings are prompting protests by many people. Some say theyre recognizing a pattern. Quinn dang shows us what local communities are doing to voice their concerns regarding racial bias within the police force. Communities across the country are organizing to combat the highprofile cases across the u. S. Here at san jose state university, the movement is well underway. In april, worldrenowned social activist angela davis came to speak to students about a variety of social issues including what she called a militarized police state. But let me say that it actually is exciting to reflect on all of the changes that have happened over the last half century. The lecture brought the support of many wellknown social activists.
