Youll notice its mainly south jersey and delaware, and the city of philadelphia and Delaware County in these counties between 1 00 p. M. And 9 00 p. M. Were expecting 1 to 3 inches of snow. Ill caution there will be some accumulation up to allentown and reading, as well. Not as much. But the problem is the time period in the evening commute that might make things slippery today. Looking at satellite well see sunshine and clouds filling in quickly this morning. In allentown, the temperatures had a dipped to 10 degrees. It extends eastward on the other side the Delaware Valley in places like florence and north of the wrightstown area and moderate snow reported in trenton. Cold and weve got single digit temperatures in the northern and western suburbs. The big story, of course is the winter storm watch and that approaching noreaster and right now all coastal counties in delaware and south jersey are under a storm watch. This starts this evening, goes all the way until thursday evening and now an advisory has been added in the rest of the south jersey counties all the way up to the i95 corridor. And dover, delaware and kent county delaware also included. This is where most of the snow will likely fall. Although its possible that philadelphia and some parts of southeastern pennsylvania also get something. Ahead of all of this were actually looking at sunshine a little later this morning to start out. And then this cloud cover that you can see welling up and pushing north toward Raleigh North Carolina and into virginia shortly after that will start to overtake us and youre starting to see a little precipitation down south.
