Early this morning to catch an early flight down at Philadelphia International airport. Your best bet this morning, if you are coming from the suburbs, and headed to the airport, you can of course use the blue route, 476, or jump off here at the vine street expressway and take that cross town to 95 south and 95 south will get you down and around in toward the bridges, down toward the airport. Thats going to be the way to go. Again, early in the morning, before sunrise, you dont want to get pushed off into University City detour, not always the best belt for folks who arent sure where theyre going. Again, it is eastbound on the schuylkill expressway, all lanes closed. Theyre pushing everybody offer at university because the accident just east of the university ave. Then we also have the overnight construction on the schuylkill. Thats going the opposite way. Closed until 5 00. I just got word, though, they have one lane open, so at least on the westbound side there is one lane, but again

And as we get further into the morning, traffic is building, and making the situation for commuters a lot worse. Because 5 00 a. M. Really starts to build up the morning rush hour around philadelphia and this may be the busiest rode through philadelphia. What happened was on the eastbound lanes, around 3 00 this white acura being driven by a woman got into a collision with one of two motorcyclists riding close together. The other cyclist, witness, is the man you see right along the median here, and maybe in the dark you can make out hes wearing Harley Davidson jacket. And hes 31 years old. And he called his father right away, and we got some information from what he told his father secondhand that they were riding, nothing unusual, and this car hit his friends.
