Over 10,000 police personnel, anti-drone systems, and over 1,000 facial recognition cameras have been deployed to secure the Mughal-era Red Fort where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver his message to the nation this Independence Day. The celebration is free of COVID-19 restrictions for the first time in two years, which has attracted a larger gathering and thus requires more security measures.
