Police in Ogun State said they have arrested four men who allegedly burgled a phone accessory shop in Ile Ife, Osun State.
The suspects, who were said to have run and hibernated in Ogun State, were arrested on April 21.
The suspects were identified by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, as Nura Bashir, (20), Awalu Aliyu (38), Shuaibu Abdul Rasheed (25) and Abdullah Usman (23).
Oyeyemi said the suspects were nabbed following a report by one Gbenga Siyanbola, who had reported at Mowe police station that, while he was coming from Osun State going to Lagos, his vehicle developed a mechanical fault somewhere in Mowe.

The Police in Ogun State said it had arrested “a 36-year-old Islamic cleric, Amodu Jamiu, for abducting a 15-year-old girl and attempting to use her for ritual.”
DAILY POST learnt that the suspect was arrested on April 5 following a report lodged at Sango divisional headquarters by the victim.
The police spokesman in Ogun, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said on Friday that the victim told the police that, “while she was coming from her working place at about 5:30 pm, she was accosted by the suspect, who lured her into an uncompleted building after touching her with an object.”
Oyeyemi quoted the teenager as saying that, “on getting to the building, the suspect stripped her naked and used a white handkerchief to rub her private part and all her body.”

Gunmen who invaded the residence of David Aigbefor, the Vice Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Gwagwalada Branch in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have been arrested.
The suspected kidnappers were nabbed by the special anti-kidnap squad of the FCT Police Command. They will be arraigned at the end of investigation.
Aigbefor fought the attackers in his apartment at Tungan Maje, in Zuba axis of Abuja. The gang gained access after shattering the entrance door of the living room with bullets.
But they hurried out after a police team responded to a distress call and stormed the area.
According to the police, the suspect was arrested at his hideout in Imala, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the state.
Oyeyemi disclosed that the suspect and his gang members were alleged to have been responsible for the kidnapping of a farmer in Solalu village, Oyo State.
He said the suspect subsequently killed the farmer after collecting a ransom and fled to Ogun State to hibernate.
The police spokesman added that “on getting to Ogun State, the suspect started recruiting other Fulani men to form another kidnap gang in the state.
“Detectives of the Ogun State police command got information about his activity from those Fulani he had tried to recruit.
