NOIDA: Police in Noida will soon have a special commando force that will be equipped to be handle emergency law and order situations. The unit, which is being trained by the CRPF in Madhya Pradesh’s Neemuch, is likely to be officially put into use from early next year.
Sources said the unit would also have police constables who would be trained in special “field craft urban warrior tactical response”. Commissioner of police Alok Singh said on Wednesday that the force was being trained to specifically deal with emergencies and terror-like situations. “They will be trained to give a tactical response to any kind of emergency situations requiring specialised skills,” he added.
