Ganta – Police In Ganta have arrested and charged a 40-year-old Filipino national for rape, sexual harassment and offensive touching.
Suspect Michael Laraya, 38, was charged Wednesday, February 3 after reportedly attempting to sodomize a 20-year-old motorcyclist at the Angel Hill Top Guest House in the Guinea Road community in Ganta.

GANTA, Feb. 4 – Police in Ganta, Nimba County have arrested, charged and sent to court a 40-year old Filipino for allegedly attempting to sodomize a 22-year old Liberian motorcyclist.
Michael Maraha was arrested on Tuesday, February 2, and taken to the Ganta Police depot following a tussle between him and 22 year old Spencer Zuo who complained that Michael attempted sodomizing him in his hotel room.
Making the disclosure to newsmen on Tuesday, LNP Ganta Detail Deputy Commander, EO Dellin Fayiah, said the accused during police preliminary investigation admitted committing the act and said, it is his way of life.
