Officers had been tailing the man as a suspect in an august 13th murder on lundy avenue but police say the man took off when they realized they were following him. He apparently was trying to go to his house on kirkhaven. Police say he crashed his car, ran toward his house and reached for something in his pants while on the front porch. The officer fired at the suspect once he did not comply with officers demands. The suspect turned around and the officer fired again. Eventually the suspect fell and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. Reporter it was the second time in less than a day that officers shot and killed a suspect in the same lundy murder case. Sunday night police shot and killed another man in a strip mall parking lot. They were the fourth and fifth Deadly Police shootings this year.
