That suv pulling that trailer is now on a side streets. We saw it on one of the major free ways just about 20 minutes ago. This chase has been going on for about 40 minutes run nothing. The problem that comes up when they are in the neighborhoods, of course, is this guy is probably not stopping at stop signs and red lights going right through them. Thats when you worry about him t boning somebody else much this is the big worry. Why is this person racing away from chp and probably now local Police Officers who actually as it goes from municipality to municipality theyll join the chase and break off but chp theyre the ones behind this the whole time. This guy is in a stolen trailer actually truck pulling that trailer. Whats in it . Thats the question. What you may not be seeing chp getting in front of the traffic to try to get those people off the road and out of the way of this person. Exactly. Stolen suv here in california. Making another turn. One of things they can do when they get to the side streets it looks like hes back on to on ramp to get back on the freeway but on the side streets they can do a pitt maneuver. Theyre allowed to do that there. If he goes at a certain speed they can actually ram him from the side which then spins him around, loses control and they can stop him. The the other thing they can do when theyre back out free ways if they can figure out his path they can get somebody out there and throw down those stop sticks. So thats also dangerous for the officers to do because youve got to do it at the exact right time and back off and not get hit by them. You see all the people on those overpasses looking over on lookers trying to get glimpse of this. You see theyre stopped to the side of the car side of the road looking over the overpasses. And or just trying to stay out of the way this is all over the air waves. 2 31 in california in los angeles right now. Its before hush hour thats the good news. Hopefully they can get this guy caught soon before any possible injuries happen because of whats going on. Sky fox over the scene theyve been on this for about 40 minutes now. Foxs ken manichean knee explains. Basketball is a played by people of all shapes, sizes and abilities. For the sacramento royals getting around the Court Requires wheels. As the adult team gets its practice in, its the newly formed youth team that is left side line the. Heart broken basically. Um, i cried im not going lie. Reporter those tears came thursday when the trailer used to carry over a dozen specialized chairs for kids was stolen. Knowing that someone took something from disabled children i think thats the worst part im got to get emotion because it hurts. Reporter though none of the chairs which cost several thousand dollars were stolen, the five by ten trailer was the only way to get enough chairs over for the youth team members who dont have their own. We working really to obtain it for the programs and our biggest goal was always to have a kids program, and were finally thats finally unfo unfolding here in the last few months and for this to happen right now, right before the season starts and now we have eight kids now and i mean theyre depending on us to transfer these chairs into practice, you know, and we cant do that any more. Reporter two of the youth players spent time on the adult team as well but feel for their fellow youth members. Im kind of mad about it because some people they love the sport. They love, they just dont have the means or they just cant do it without those chairs. Being on the court and paying its tough. Tough outlook for the royals as well. Moo might be forced to cancel a youth clinic next month they cant find the trailer or raise enough money to get a new one. A lot of our kids this is their only outlet. They have a dapped pe in school but its not a real team. Telling them this wonderful thing that you started to build is going to go away, i mean, its dream crushing. Report roar dreams they hope the community can help keep alive. In sacramento, ken, fox news. The team is set up gofundme sight to raise 4,000 to get a new trailer and guess what . What . It will continue that track and then make the turn off the jersey shore this crazy loop again hanging off the coast for at least a couple of days through friday. So that wave action will continue into the weekend. So as we talk about the impacts, the hurricane center, just downgraded the wind impact and that means those Tropical Storm force winds staying offshore with the latest track from the National Hurricane center so they have dropped that Tropical Storm watch for the jersey shore and the delaware beaches. But were still talking about gusty winds. When we look at the winds i talked about this earlier in the show, were seeing that northeasterly wind at about 25 miles an hour down the shore tonight.
