Launch of modern monitoring system for supervisory officers to improve performance of Police
Lahore, December 23, 2020 (PPI-OT): On the direction of Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani, in view of further improvement in the working of police force and police station matters, a modern monitoring system has been launched for supervisory officers under which DPOs, DSPs and other supervisory officers will be able to effectively monitor the professional affairs of the police stations with the help of modern integrated system. These views were expressed by DIG IT Waqas Nazir while talking to the officers while presiding over a meeting held at Central Police Office.
Crackdown against criminal elements continues across the province on the instructions of IG Punjab Inam Ghani
Lahore, December 14, 2020 (PPI-OT): On the direction of Inspector General of Punjab Police, Inam Ghani, crackdown on anti-social elements has been intensified across the province, especially crackdown on notorious criminals, illegal arms holders and drug dealers. In this regard, Gujarat Police under the leadership of District Police Officer Omar Salamat took emergency measures for the arrest of anti-social elements during the last month which resulted in a significant reduction in the crime rate in the district and overall law and order situation.
