Reporter john lions of run 215 is helping to lead a group of volunteers who will become the eyes and ears of the 10mile trail this coming on the heels of two indecent exposure incidents on saturday morning. Its unacceptable is what i think and i think one incident is too many. Reporter volunteers are being trained to identify suspicious activity and describe suspects if necessary. The work in pairs have identifying badges and tshirts. Observe, document and report. Theyre not police officers. Were not making anybody a police officer. Crew just a good citizen. Youre out there in pairs and youre walking. If you observe something you document it. If its warned you report it to 911. My roommate especially will run the trail at night and she definitely doesnt feel safe
