Yesterday the Community Came together to remember her. This is also the area where later this morning members of Oakland City Council and Community Leaders will gather and demand increased public safety. It was two days ago she was driving in the neighborhood when she was shot and killed two blocks from her home. She was picking up animals in the area for a pet sitting business. They came together to show their support and honor judy solomon. Im devastated. She was my only sister and her mother, our mother died when judy was 17. And it has been a tough life for her. Reporter we are told solomon was working with members of the community to bring private security to the area. And they hope that solomons death isnt in vain. The evidence was so compelling lauer was fired last night and she has evidence this has happened to other women. The New York Times is reporting this morning that the woman spoke to them on monday but wasnt ready to go public with her story. The times also reporting that the woman and her lawyer met with the Hr Department and nbcs Legal Department in a meeting that lasted several hours monday night.
