A red flag warning was slated to expire this morning but has been extended for some locations until tomorrow morning of course were also tracking power shut offs and outages across the bay area pg and e says it aims to have the power back on for all customers affected by the Public Safety power shutoff by 10 oclock tonight. Area well, just in case things are getting a little bit too boring, Mountain Lion seen roaming the streets of San Francisco was around last night and around this morning and has been captured and an officer spotted the animal oracle park this morning and called for backup and police surrounded it until animal control arrived. Crew safely capture the Mountain Lion near the park and along the waterfront. The Mountain Lion is now in the custody of the California Department of fish and wildlife and when i saw this last night i was thinking, boy, this has been quite a year, add this everything thats happened something serious or something not and it has been quite a year and i never thought i would the amount lion in downtown San Francisco. I was shocked as well and i was kind of to twitter is eyesight popping up i live in east bay and we get an occasional wild turkey with foxes in the backyard but since the pandemic started we have had deer all over the back hill and more wild turkeys and
Fourth in the Mission Bay Neighborhood. And the police did confirm that Mountain Lion is this area just hanging around. Officers wheare on the scene. Obviously youll want to avoid this area. Earlier this week it was spotted in russian hill and just outside of our studios. And last night it was spotted in rin con hill. So if we assume that this is the same animal, the lion has been on the move. And Adam Goldstein is on the phone with us now. You rushed over there. What can you tell us right now . So what i can tell you is this, currently there are roughly seven or eight police cars stationed between third and fourth. There has been a barricade set up. And i can tell you also that the Mountain Lion has been cornered, animal control is on the scene and you cant see it from the street, the police have it all blocked off. There will be more information coming in in 20 or 30 minutes, how they found it and where it was spotted exactly. And yeah, as of now, that is all i can really tell you. W
