GEORGIA (WTVM) - All mass vaccination sites operated by the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS) will allow drive-ups with no appointment necessary.
The sites will be giving out the COVID-19 Johnson and Johnson vaccine beginning May 3.
According to GEMA/HS, sites will administer the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine as available to those who haven’t received the first dose of a different vaccine until operations end on May 21.

As the vaccine supply continues to grow, Georgia is doubling the amount of mass COVID-19 vaccination sites across the state.
Officials opened four mass sites on Feb. 22 at the Delta Air Museum, Macon Farmers Market, Albany Georgia Forestry Site and Habersham County Fairgrounds.

The additional vaccine sites add to four other locations that opened last month in metro Atlanta, Macon, Albany and Habersham County. The new sites will open in Savannah, Columbus, Waycross and Bartow and Washington counties.
