Marcos garcia. Heust finished his freshman year at deer valley high. Afte school his friends tell me he went home with a group of kidswhere he was accidentally shot with a bb gun. A tragic start to summer vacation. 15yearold Marcos Garcia was shot once in the chest by a friend with a bb gun rifle at his antioch home. It happened at the corner of palomar drive and Point Sal Court just before 10 thursday morning. The kids panicked then brought marcos to their next door neighbor of 13 years for help. Sot jorge duran, neighbor and i tried to feel his pulse if he was still alive. I felt a pulse but he was unconscious, he wasnt breathing, his lips were white. Marcos later died at an area hospital. You can see 880 in the southbound direction is slow and thats because of a crash that happened there earlier this morning. The crash is out of the way but theres some residual impact from that.
