FOUR areas in Blackburn with Darwen have reported a decrease in their coronavirus infection rates, according to the Government’s covid-19 data map. The latest data, which covers the seven days to December 21, shows that areas in and around Audley, Shadsworth, Queens Park and Lammack have recorded fewer new cases. Meanwhile Ewood and Fenhurst along with North Darwen are the areas where the highest percentage of new cases have been recorded. All Seven–day rates are expressed per 100,000 population and are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.
