Jonathan Howell, a former Ocean City Beach Patrol lifeguard and math teacher at Pleasantville High School, has been indicted by a Cape May County grand jury on charges of sexual assault. Howell, 41, previously was charged last June as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of sexual harassment and abuse made on Instagram against former members of the Ocean City Beach Patrol. A labor attorney was hired to lead an investigation that has continued for nearly two years since the allegations surfaced.
