WEST PLAINS, Mo. – The 2021-2022 school year is drawing to a close, and what better way to celebrate than watching a free movie! The University/Community Programs (U/CP) Department at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) will host its Summer Kick-Off Movie Night May 10 at the West Plains Civic Center theater. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. when the curtain rises on a classic PG-rated comedy adapted from Hal Roach's "Our Gang" series. This 1994 film features the antics of the bumbling "He Man Woman Hater's Club" as they race through a summer of shenanigans in an effort to win the community go-cart race. Club member Alfalfa finds himself in even greater dire straits when he is forced to choose between his loyalty to the club or his cute girlfriend, Darla.
