What was once known as A-OK Sushi will change to Go N Sushi, with owners Lien Tuyen and Yoon Kim taking over the Plainland store. Lien, a former sushi train restaurant manager from the Sunshine Coast, made the decision to buy in Plainland because she wanted her own business. The 26-year-old studied the art of sushi in Western Australia, as well as studying hospitality and tourism management before moving to Queensland two years ago. I looked that the area was growing, and I heard about the Aldi store, the school and Bunnings and the residential area was increasing, Lien said.

MEMBERS of the Laidley RSL Sub Branch joined with family and friends on April 7 to farewell Alexander (Alex) Dixon Blaw. A veteran of the Second World War, Mr Blaw saw active service in New Guinea in 1943 and, while still a member of the Australian Imperial Force, served with the British Commonwealth Occupation Force in Japan until January 1947. He was born on May 5, 1924 at home in St Lucia, Brisbane.
His family moved house several times around the northern suburbs before purchasing a home in Windsor.

When they can t find any answer, that s when they say SIDS. Kelly remembers worrying about SIDS when her own children were young. You don t hear about it anymore but it needs to be more talked about because there are measures you can take, she said.
