Cameroonian officials suspect a cough syrup is the cause of a dozen childrens deaths and it appears to have been manufactured in India. An investigation showed that a manufacturing license number on a Naturcold medication box matches that of Indian-based Riemann Labs. Riemann does not believe it created the tainted medicine and suggests the possible issue could be counterfeiting.
