The Diamondbacks Minor League affiliates combined for a 2-1 record. Reno had the day off, which likely played in the decision to activate Ketel Marte. Amarillo and Visalia both had walk-off wins with the former needing 12 innings to get the job done.

This game didn’t feature a lot of offense, but Amarillo was able to pull it out in the end. Tyler Holton started the game and allowed only 1 hit and struck out 8 in 4 scoreless innings. Reno and Amarillo won by 15 and 10 runs respectively and a lot of good news for an organization that needed it. Donatella went five innings and allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits (including a homerun), a hit by pitch, no walks, and a pair of strikeouts. Keury Mella followed with two innings, with a run on a hit and a pair of walks, while striking out three. Jeremy Rhoades had a very rough outing, getting just one out, with five runs allowed on four hits and a walk, with his only out coming via strikeout. Cameron Gann pitched 1.2 scoreless and hitless innings, striking out a pair, though he did let his inherited runner score.
