Powers shift: A new generation takes over leadership of Powers Ventures Nick Powers recently took the reins of Powers Ventures as president, with his father, Joe Powers, stepping back a bit into a less hands-on chief executive role. The new title places Nick Powers in charge of the six businesses under the Power Ventures umbrella – Canadian Honker Restaurant, Canadian Honker Catering, Rochester International Event Center, Pinnacle Catering, Mayowood Stone Barn and J.
