Alder Marin Sotelo, who escaped from Piedmont Regional Jail in Farmville over the weekend, was captured Thursday by authorities in Mexico. The FBI had been leading a manhunt for Sotelo, who was charged with murder in the August 2022 death of a sheriff s deputy in Wake County, N.C.
