Bolsena, a city nestled in a beautiful landscape on the shores of the homonymous lake, will celebrate the “Festival of Hydrangeas” from June 21 to 23. Cultivated in many varieties as an ornamental plant, the Hydrangea is one of the species most commonly used to decorate gardens. The shades of the colors are endless and range from blue to purple, to pink, to red, and to white, creating a palette of colors rarely found in nature. The period of the exhibition coincides with the height of its maximum splendor.
