And tonight homeowners are breathing a long sigh of relief thanking firefighters for saving their homes. We were at the beach and all of a sudden we started seeing flames in the air. Reporter homeowners were soaking up the sun at the beach. It seemed like the whole house was up in flames instantly. Reporter doesens of residents were evacuated including a woman in her 80s. The home she and her son were lived in was the only one destroyed by the fire. The son in his 50s suffered nonlife threatening burns and was taken to the hospital. Its surreal.
