good evening once again. i m alicia menendez in for stephanie ruhle. it was nearly three weeks ago that former president trump first told the nation, the fbi was executing a search warrant at mar-a-lago. today, americans had the chance to see some of the justice s reasoning for that move. the heavily redacted affidavit that underpins the warrant has been unsealed and made public. the document supports much of which was already known about the criminal investigation to whether trump and his aides took secret government papers, and failed to return all of them, despite repeated demands from senior government officials. nbc s peter alexander has more on today s bombshell developments. reporter: the 38-page affidavit focuses on what the fbi says it found in 15 boxes mr. trump returned to the national archives in january. mixed in with newspapers, magazines, and presidential correspondents were 184 classified documents, 67 of them marked confidential. 92 marked secret. and 25

flight instate at london s westminster home. we get into wednesday, public will be able to pay their respects to the fall in monarch. today, crowds lined the streets of edinburgh, applauding, to show respect to the queen elizabeth, her hearse arrived at scotland s capital. she will remain there until tuesday. she will be moved to london for funeral services. today, we learned the president and first lady accepted the royal families invitation to that ceremony next monday, the 19th. meanwhile, proclamation ceremonies took place in the capital cities of scotland, wales, and in northern ireland, officially declaring charles king. joining us now from london, nbc news correspondent, matt bradley. matt, let s start with the new details just released about the ceremonies in london. tell us what you have learned. this is gonna be a typical state funeral. what we will be seeing is the monarch, queen elizabeth ii, who reigned longer than any other british monarch, lying in state for

attention to this part of her journey, but there is an anticipation there of seeing her, as well as the new king, max. yeah. so we re slightly behind schedule here. it was due that the coffin would arrive at the castle, the palace rather at 4:00, but as richard says, absolutely impeccable otherwise. everything is exactly as planned. and signed off by the queen. this will be very heartening to her. the people of edinburgh have come out in huge numbers. i ve been hearing ing isa descrg the crowds there. as princess anne in the procession there, there will be a member of the royal family there, and you ll see the procession going up to the palace, and we ll see a somber moment with the royal salute as the coffin is taken in to the palace. there will be some pomp and ceremony once they get there. but the ramain event will be tomorrow when the coffin goes to st. charles cathedral. the dean of chapel royal in scotland will be up there, and they re going to oversee this process. w
