Now these high schoolers are getting associate degrees Matt Jones, Daily Press Janee’ Thomas, Moisés Luna and Maya Miller will be some of the first Hampton seniors to graduate this spring. They won’t get their high school diplomas like their classmates at Phoebus High School until June. But on May 13, they’ll graduate from Thomas Nelson Community College with associate degrees. The three are part of the first graduating class of Hampton’s Academy of Advanced College Experience. They’re also some of the first graduates to have made it through a whole year of school in the pandemic.

Officers are investigating an accident involving a motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of Pembroke Ave. and Grimes Rd. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Call received at 7:07PM.
