January 8, 2021 No. 16 Men Defeat LSU, No. 22 Women Tie
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No.16 Florida State men’s swimming and diving team (3-0, 1-0 ACC) picked up its third win of the season on Friday, defeating RV LSU 170.5-91.5 at the Morcom Aquatics Center. The No. 22 FSU women (1-1-1, 0-1 ACC) tied the RV Tigers 131-131 as both teams competed in swimming events only.
“I thought we had a pretty good day,” FSU head coach Neal Studd said. “We’ve only been back in the water this week and I liked what I saw. We lost at LSU last year on the women’s side, so for us to tie is a step in the right direction. We had some great swims from both teams and I am really proud of the effort.”
