The Chinese Navy's new ocean-going comprehensive training ship, Qi Jiguang, set sail from a military port in Dalian, Liaoning Province, to carry out practical missions in the far seas. The ship landed at Pier 15 in Manila Port on June 6. More than 300 people, including Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian, greeted them at the pier. The visiting officers and men will visit Philippine naval vessels and carry out cultural and sports exchanges with representatives of the Philippine Navy.
