Chris Ross completed some unfinished business recently by earning a college degree at Marshall University.
The San Miguel Beermen defensive wizard beamed with pride after graduating with a degree in Recents Bachelor of Arts during the virtual commencement exercises of the university located in Huntington, West Virginia.
“Better late than never,” the 36-year-old Ross said on his Instagram post. “It was a long time coming but I used quarantine as a time to better myself and fishing some things that I didn’t get to finish when I was first presented with the situation.
“I wish I was able to go back to campus and walk the stage but unfortunately I wasn’t. I’m proud and giving myself a pat on the back for never giving up on myself and finally getting it done! I’m officially a college graduate!”
“This means a lot because I lost mine and it has a lot of sentimental value for me!!” Helterbrand said in his Instagram post.
“EJ (Sabandal), you just made a new friend today and I will start collecting again and what a better way than your own Upper Deck card!!! Mad love bro!!!” Helterbrand added.
The league had secured a deal with American trading card company Upper Deck following the launch of PBA Properties in 2000.
At the time, Upper Deck had a license to produce NBA trading cards, and it used the same templates and designs to produce the PBA version.
