A German-born gay porn star who later became a firefighter is warning about the dangers of pornography as he stands for the Scottish Parliament.
Philipp Tanzer, 43, is the Scottish Family Party s regional list candidate for the Highlands and Islands at the Holyrood elections in May.
He starred in a host of porn films under the name Logan McCree after winning Germany s Mr Leather contest in 2004, before becoming a fireman.
Mr Tanzer, who was born in Germany and moved to Scotland eight years ago, is now in a relationship with a woman and considering marriage.
Launching his political campaign, the former porn star is now warning of the negative effects pornography has on adults and children as he revealed he lost five friends in the industry to suicide and drugs.
