No snow in the region just yet, but not far away. We issued a first alert for this day. Accumulating snow which is light snow that begins during the morning rush. 6 00 to 7 00 a. M. The western suburbs will see eit first. One to two inches possible for the infire area and harder to find even totals that go even higher. The snow will stick to the ground even after the snow tapers off this afternoon. The cold temperatures will stay with us tonight.
