The 16th annual Kensington Derby and Arts Festival is expecting 15,000 to 25,000 attendees and will feature more than 150 vendors. The event, which has taken place on Trenton Avenue in previous years, will showcase local businesses in East Kensington and Fishtown.
The Hound-O-Ween fall festival will return to Northern Liberties on Saturday, Oct. 29 from noon to 5 p.m. A charity pet costume contest will be held benefiting Street Tails Animal Rescue. The event also includes a pet photo booth, caricatures, charity auction, pet-focused vendors, and food and drink provided by El Camino Real.
