Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sasa Kalajdzic underwent surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury on Friday.Kalajdzic sustained the injury, the third significant knee injury of his career. while on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt.He has returned to the UK to begin his recovery.Phil Hayward, head of high performance at Wolves, said: “Following his right knee injury on Sunday, Sasa today had surgery in London to repair his anterior cruciate ligament. “The surgery went as planned, with the surgeon very pleased with the outcome. Sasa will now begin the rehabilitation process under the guidance of the medical team at Wolves."
