Another high dollar pet theft has Omaha police asking for help from the public. One week before Christmas, three people apparently staked out the ‘Pets R Us’ store near 108th and West Center and then stole a little Aussie Pomeranian.A worker took one of the suspects and the puppy to a closed-off area. After watching them for a few moments, the worker left.A couple minutes later the woman simply picked-up the $4,000 puppy and walked out of the store. She got into a dark 4-door Nissan that didn’t have any plates. The other two people involved were inside that car and the three of them sped away. The main suspect had purple-tinted hair and she was with a woman with blond hair and a man.Last summer, and then again in December, someone stole some expensive birds from the store.Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers:(402) 444-STOP (7867)www.omahacrimestoppers.org“P3 Tips” Mobile AppAll tipsters stay anonymous but could still get a cash r
