As you know they deadlocked on the most serious charge, first degree murder. Michael dunn has never denied he shot and killed 17yearold jordan davis after an argument over loud music in a parking lot. Dunn testified he feared for his life even though police never found any evidence of a weapon in the car carrying davis and his friends. Theres been a lot of speculation about how big a role if any race played in the killing and the trial.
